Monday, Jan. 16, we welcomed guest
speaker Alderman Michael Garrity. He spoke to us about taxes,
spending and Mayor Guinta's agenda to rein in
both.
Recently, we mourned the loss of
two members of the CTM, Shirley Frank, and Roland Beaupre.
They will be missed.
Monday, Nov. 21, We welcomed State
Rep. Jim Coburn of Windham as our guest speaker. He is
considering a run for governor next year.
Monday, Sept. 19, CTM members hosted a
"Get to know the Candidates" night the day before the citywide
primary. Mayoral Candidates Frank Guinta and Jeff Kassel spoke
about the spending cap and taxes in Manchester. Also featured
was candidate for alderman-at-large Steve Vallaincourt,
candidates for school board James Chan and Karl Beisel, and
candidate for selectmen Bob Burns. James Chan also
addressed the group about his campaign for welfare
commissioner.
